Clubhouse

Our Architects and the Development Steering Committee have been working hard on the pre planning application stage so that we brief planners in Fingal County Council on the reasons behind our development application and the need for same. This is an important phase for the club and will be followed with a formal planning application submission which is expected to happen in July The planning process will take a minimum of 3 months but could take up to 9 months depending on objections etc. We will update this space on a regular basis with the latest info.

Paths, Fencing, Lighting, Nets & Posts, Extra Parking Space

During July, we plan to carry out an upgrade to the paths and entrance to our club which will see tarmac being relaid and railings plus lighting installed. The fencing around the courts will also be vastly improved. New posts and nets have already been installed and are of a very high quality. 5 new parking spaces will be installed also.

A big thank you to the 125 members who voted at the EGM.

An unprecendented  95.2% of attendees voted YES and gave our Committee the go-ahead to commence the Phase 2 Development Programme immediately.

I'd like to thank the whole Committee for its work in bringing about this great start to our year after only 3 months in office. You are a very talented group of volunteers.

Watch this space for further updates in the coming weeks. We really are entering a very exciting phase in our wonderful club's history.

Thanks all from  Kevin Pryor, Club President.
