New Court Allocation Rules - 1st February 2012
Arising from this year's AGM, new court allocation rules are in effect. These rules will operate for a trial period of 3 months effective from 1st February 2012.
You will have an opportunity to comment on the new rules via the Membership Survey which will be conducted during the month of February.

Robbie Harrold awarded Honorary Membership
Congratulations to Robbie Harrold who was awarded Honorary Membership of MLTCC at our recent AGM. A brief outline of Robbie's tennis achievements at club, inter-provincial and national levels is available here.
Facilities Sub-Committee
As mentioned at the AGM, Shane Melvin is looking for members to join him on the Facilities Subcommittee to assist him in carrying out the work required for Facilities Management in the club. The nature of the work of the subcommittee is not to do the work associated with the house and grounds (e.g. maintenance, security, cleaning, health & safety etc) but to manage the work. The club needs five members on the subcommittee, so as to spread the work load involved in a reasonable manner that can be carried out on a voluntary basis. If you are prepared to serve on the subcommittee, or have questions about serving on the subcommittee, please contact Shane directly or Frank in the office.

Round Robin 2011/2012
Please note; Court congestion has improved due to last month's changes. However, we strongly advise players to get matches played in the first 2 weeks to avoid queueing! When arranging matches pls look at calendar and court schedule.

Alleviating Court Congestion
A number of club members have raised concerns about court availability in recent weeks, particularly since the resumption of the round robin tournament. It is great testimony to the club that we have so many members taking part in round robin and in social tennis activities. However, we recognise that it is important to find a match between court supply and demand as much as possible for members’ enjoyment. We are reducing the number of matches in the Ladies doubles RR event this month by about 80. Click here for more>>
