Mens Irish Open Tennis Championships 2010
Colin O'Brien and partner James Cluskey won the Irish Open doubles final last Friday in an exciting encounter against Barry King and Colin Ebelthite (AUS). In a match full of great doubles play, the all-Irish partnership raced to a 4-0 lead in the first set and then held serve twice to take it 6-2. The match really took off in the second set, and with both pairs exchanging one break of serve apiece, O'Brien and Cluskey held firm in the tie-break to win it 7-1, and take the title with a 6-2, 7-6 win.
In the singles final on Saturday, unseeded Daniel Cox (GBR) overcame 7th seed Andrea Falgheri of Italy 6-1 3-6 6-3.
